EXCELENTE Com base em 198 avaliações Publicado em Norm WVerificada Great Tours We took 2 day trips from Lisbon with Francisco: one to Nazare/Obidos and one to Sintra. Both were great, especially Nazare where he had authorization to drive us right to the lighthouse. Francisco was the ideal guide: punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. There was no language difficulties as his English was more than adequate. On several occasions he also served as our interpreter as our Portuguese was extremely limited. Francisco made dining recommendations (which proved to be great) and also reservations for dining and different attractions while touring so we were expected when we arrived. The van we toured in was very comfortable, but some sort of PA system would help back seaters hear. But most of all Franciso was a pleasure to be with. He described what we were seeing but not in a nonstop manner. He answered any questions we had, but also allowed a little quiet time for us to talk to each other or just enjoy the view. He has a good sense of humor and we enjoyed joking with him. IF YOU NEED A TOUR GUIDE IN THE LISBON AREA, FRANCISCO IS YOUR GUY.Publicado em P WVerificada Can't go wrong booking this tour Our tour to Nazare/Obidos with Francisco was great. I chose this tour based on previous tour goers' very positive reviews and was not disappointed. We especially appreciated being able to schedule the pick up point right by our AirBnB. Francisco is a very warm, friendly guide who is quite knowledgeable in Portugal's history. Besides providing tons of history on the sites we visited, he also offered many suggestions/recommendations about other sites of interest, restaurants and neighborhoods to visit during our stay in Lisbon. I would certainly recommend booking with Francisco. I don't think you'll be disappointed.Publicado em FellowTraveler305894Verificada Book this tour! Book this tour! Francisco is the guide for you! He will pick you up promptly, cater the day to your preferences, and give you the most memorable day filled with history, knowledge, and tips to get the most from each stop. We came away feeling that we saw a LOT in just one day, but not rushed, tired or overwhelmed. If we had more days, we would explore other areas with him😊 Thank you again, Francisco!Publicado em KDBLANCHARD1973Verificada Do not miss this OUTSTANDING experience!! The Sintra Tour from Lisbon was absolutely outstanding. Our guide, Francisco Basso of Lisbon Daytrip, was a true professional from start to finish. He picked us up right on time at our hotel and, during the drive to Sintra, shared a wealth of insight and history about Portugal, Lisbon, and Sintra that really set the tone for the day. Once in Sintra, we stopped at the famous Piriquita bakery, where we tried an original Travesseiro and a Queijada de Sintra - both were genuinely life-changing. From there, we entered Quinta de Regaleira right at our scheduled time. The Initiation Well, the grounds, and the mansion were absolutely stunning and lived up to the hype. Next, we headed to Pena National Palace. Unfortunately, the weather turned rainy and foggy on the way up, and due to time constraints we weren’t able to tour the interior. This is the one thing I would do differently - either allow more time for the interior visit or plan a return trip specifically for it. We finished the day in Cascais with a wonderful lunch, gelato, and some relaxed shopping. Francisco then dropped us off at Praça do Comércio near the cruise terminal, which was very convenient. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. A private tour is absolutely the way to go, and I can’t recommend Francisco Basso and Lisbon Daytrip highly enough.Publicado em Lauren ZVerificada Fabulous half day tour in Lisbon Francisco was a fantastic guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about Lisbon and was able to tell us the history and why the sites he took us to were important. We learned so much about the culture and were able to see a lot in the four hour tour. We went to Alfama, Chiado, Bairro Alto and Belem. He stopped at different viewpoints that were very beautiful and of course we had a lovely pastry at the Pasteis de Belem! I would highly recommend this tour. We liked it so much that we booked another tour with him for a day in Sintra!Publicado em Molly CVerificada Francisco is a wonderful guide! Francisco was a wonderful guide. We learned a lot and his English was also very good. It was the best way for us to see all of the city without having to walk up and down hills with our younger child. Highly recommend him for a tour!Publicado em Steve CVerificada Awesome Fraccisco is the best! Knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be around. My wise and I traveled with friends in his van. We liked the tour so much Ann and I booked him for another trip the next day.Publicado em Priscilla CVerificada Great day in Lisbon Tour guide had a wealth of knowledge of the places we visited. He made the day lots of fun. Time was well spent. He changed the schedule to fit our plans. The place he took us to eat was a little pricey for lunch. But I truly enjoyed the entire day.Publicado em Steffoni SVerificada Lisbon Tour Very knowledgeable tour guide. Very good overview and history of Lisbon and Portugal. Despite the rain he made the day enjoyable and fun. He also tailored the tour to our liking.Publicado em Jo FVerificada Amazing tour of Lisbon with excellent guide. Obrigada Francisco! This was a brilliant tour with Francisco, an independent guide. He knows Lisbon like the back of his hand and was able to show us the main highlights of the city, as well as provide amazing and engaging overview of its history. He was very professional from the outset and was able to accommodate last minute changes to the booking and adapt the tour to suit our needs. It’s a shame our time in Lisbon was limited, there was so much more to see and Francisco would be the perfect guide to do this. I would definitely recommend Francisco / Lisbon Day Trip to anyone visiting the city!
